About Us After many years of growing Valencia oranges and avocados on our small little slice of heaven, we have decided to make a change. As the market price of oranges continued to decline, we needed to find a better use for our five acres While on a trip to Washington State for a youth softball tournament, Mom (Nana) saw an alpaca farm. This began our journey. Mom was looking for a way to make the ranch more profitable, or at least make enough to pay the taxes. She did a lot of research and the idea began to grow on her. After some discussion and visits to a few local Alpaca farms, we all were hooked.
We made our first investment (purchase) of Alpacas that included a pregnant Duchess of Somis, and two maidens Princess Fiona of the Swamp and Petunia from Branch Ranch through Alpacas at Windy Hill. Thanks Cindy!
To further expand our herd we have recently purchased Patagonia's Maya, her daughter Maya's Treasure and Crescent Moon's Ike from Rolling Thunder Farms. Thanks Jimmy and Nancy!
We readily welcome visitors to our ranch. We only ask that you call ahead so that we can set time aside to spend with you. |
